Boulder Sausage Cooked Sausage links are made with out the use of Antibiotics or Growth Stimulants EVER.
We start with lean cuts of Pork from animals that have been raised without any antibiotics or growth stimulants. They have been humanely raised and processed in accordance with the swine assurance program (http://www.pork.org/Producers/SWAP/SWAP.aspx). We add natural spices to give the sausage the same great flavor that all Boulder Sausage products have and stuff into natural hog casings. The sausage is cooked to perfection, packaged into an airtight package and cooked again. This process is called pasteurization and is done to insure the safety of our product for our customers.
Boulder Sausage doesn’t add any Nitrates or nitrites. We don’t add any preservatives, MSG, or colorings.
Our cooked sausage product can be found in the lunch meat section of your grocery store.
